You will hear from our political action VP, Esther Kramer, who will provide specific details about upcoming School Budget votes and Board of Ed elections and what we are asking of you. Not only will we need your help, but the LI town and the teacher local where you reside may need you. You could simply commit to going to vote for your budget to make sure that it passes. You can pay attention to who the Board candidates are and what their talking points are. In conversation you could share with family and friends which board candidates your local may be supporting. If you are comfortable you could do the same on social media, but we ask you to use sound and prudent judgment in the digital realm. You could simply remind people that the day of the budget vote is May 17th and the where to go. Look out for other ways to take action.
