All FFT members are entitled to 11 sick and 3 personal days per year.
Any personal days that are not used in the given year are added to that teacher’s “sick day” accumulation, which can then be used in the future. All FFT members are entitled to “Family Illness” days, which are deducted from that member’s sick day bank. Members are limited to 5 family illness days per year with a lifetime maximum of 40 days.
Members should keep track of the days being used and make sure to verify their accounts at the end of each school year.
