NYSUT classes that are weighted for the 2017-18 school year are:
- Activating a Motivated and Engaged Brain: The Seeking System (EDU 661118 - SUNY Empire State College)
- Instructional Planning, Strategic Teaching (EDU 661114 - SUNY Empire State College)
We are still waiting for confirmation from NYSUT on dates for these classes to run in Farmingdale this coming spring.
Currently, Activating a Motivated and Engaged Brain is scheduled at Plainedge HS (North Massapequa) from 1/6/2018 - 2/3/2018.
You are able to take these courses in other districts as long as they are completed by June 30, 2018.
