At the recent NYSUT convention, FFT was honored for our 50th year as a local union. The plaque was presented to FFT President, Cordelia Anthony, by both NYSUT President Andy Pallotta and AFT President Randi Weingarten.
This week Cordelia was a mentor and attended the FFT Retiree chapter luncheon to share the news of the recognition and one of the original signers of our charter, Paul Hoffman was in attendance.
Our 50th-year celebration continues as we start to prepare for our formal celebration event in the Fall. Details will be coming soon.
